Schmutz Time!
Dear (long suffering) readers of The Rough Pearl: It's time for another extended break so I can, once again, fiddle with the drawings and style of the already finished pages. Careful readers will have noticed that the style changed noticeably between pages 45 and 47, becoming considerably "grittier". This happened because I started drawing the pages in pencil rather than "digitally". Since I always wanted the story to have this "schmutzy" look, I'm going to take a few months now to go back and add it in to pages 1-45.
The Rough Pearl will be back with new pages starting in September! In the meantime, here's a little animation showing you what I'll be up to.
